On Tuesday May 14 you are welcome to attend a breakfast meeting about how innovative cities are created.

Municipalities and regions have the challenge of creating the right circumstances for innovation to flourish among people, companies and organizations in order to create growth, competitiveness and to sustainable meet societal challenges. How are these circumstances created?

Com Hem and Stockholm IT Region have the pleasure to invite you to a conversation about how innovative cities and regions can be built and strengthened. Naveen Chopra, finance and strategy director at Silicon Valley-based innovation company TiVo, and Sten Nordin, Mayor of Stockholm, share their thoughts on how the innovation challenge is viewed from the different sides of the Atlantic.

Staffan Helgesson, general partner at venture capital firm Creandum, and Anette Scheibe Lorentzi, county director general of the Stockholm County Administrative Board, contributes in a subsequent panel discussion with valuable insights from an investor perspective and a regional perspective. Additional panelists may be included.

New speaker - Carl Waldekranz, ceo and co-founder of acclaimed startup Tictail will also be joining the panel and share his experience in choosing the right place to establish your startup
